I like it! Gave me new perspective on the web development. I think these new JavaScript frameworks were created because there were use-cases that we're not able to solve with simple HTML markup and CSS.

And also for the development experience, there are things that needed to transcend due to the number of people in the community (supply & demand).

I do agree that there should be a time to rethink some approaches and relearn some of the basics we've fairly missed over the course.
